The requested services will ensure the Te Taiwhakaea (TSS) project is able to create on-line educational resources that are current and in line with the New Zealand Curriculum.

The resources will be the product of the project’s research and publication material which includes video oral history interviews, photographs and images, as well as written content.
The school age targets are from late primary school to early secondary school; years 7-10.
In order for the project to have relevance within schools, resources need to be developed that:
1. Locate the project within a variety of NZ Curriculum Areas.
2. Provide a means to promote better uptake and understanding of the Treaty, Treaty settlements (and by extension cultural diversity, civics, identity, and nationhood).
3. Engage and attract teachers and students (to assist with in-class/in-school uptake).
4. Provide opportunities for place-based learning as an avenue to understand national events at a local school/community level.
Ideally the resources are supported by methods to encourage and support faster up-take by teachers in the classroom.
