Overview

The Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) publishes information relevant to the tourism sector on the Tourism Evidence and Insights Centre (TEIC). Measuring quantities of visitors (both international and domestic) is an essential pillar of the tourism data system.

The general aim of this procurement is to quantify visitor mobility (i.e. movement range and origin-destination relations) intra- and inter-destinations. This includes measures of visitor volumes (i.e. how many in a particular point in time at particular destinations), as well as visitor flows (e.g. routes and journey times).

MBIE is looking for providers who have capability to design, collect, report, and deliver visitor volumes and flows data.

In Section 3 of the RFP shows all the Pre-Conditions supplier must meet to be considered.

The RFP response forms will be loaded next week.
