MBIE is looking for fleet management and associated operational services for its vehicle fleet across New Zealand covering the full range of management and operations across the fleet.
This covers full requirements for fleet management including:
- leasing and/or purchasing activities,
- fuel, servicing and maintenance,
- vehicle usage through GPS monitoring and telematics
- driver management,
- online vehicle booking system
- key management, and
associated reporting requirements including for FBT and Co2 emissions.
MBIE are transitioning to a model where vehicles are not allocated to individual business units instead making available a pool of vehicles to MBIE staff. We are looking for a full end-to-end solution for the management of common pool vehicles within the fleet, that covers all vehicle fleet management from purchase to disposal as well as the operational needs that this type of requirement covers.
The Ministry’s preference is to contract with only one supplier for its Fleet management services, the successful respondent may utilise third party suppliers to fulfil MBIE’s requirements and the supplier will be responsible for managing them.
