The Government Property Group, together with interested government agencies, intends to formally engage with the market in order to identify new or existing office accommodation.
We would like to understand opportunities which may meet the following needs:
• Suitable office space, options could include, but are not limited to;
o Combined agency tenancy building requirement up to 18,000m²
o Agency single building requirement of up to 12,000m²
o Agency single building requirement of up to 6,000m²
• Available for tenant occupancy in 2023 (preferably with early access late 2022).
• Located within or near the Government precinct of buildings (consideration will be given to sites within the broader Wellington CBD).
It is intended that an Invitation to Participate (ITP) will be issued via the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) in January 2020. The ITP will set out the requirements of the potential tenants.
This project is part of the Government Office Accommodation Programme. The Programme is focused on developing a strategic approach to how Government sources and manages its property portfolio.
