LPC has inconsistently managed the transport of goods or materials to support project development and maintenance/repair of its fixed and mobile assets. LPC has relied on suppliers to provide their own transportation or utilizes its incumber freight forwarder. LPC has not engaged a domestic carrier on a consistent basis.
LPC purchases in the region of $0.4m/annum supply of freighting services consisting of,
- Customer service(s)
- Domestic inbound (goods/materials inbound)
- Domestic outbound (returned goods/materials and "rotables" inspection/remanufacturing)
- International inbound (goods/materials inbound)
- Transborder compliance
- International outbound (goods/materials outbound)
This notice informs the supplier market, with offices in the Canterbury region, of LPCs intention to tender its freight services mid-January 2025, with a proposed close date on mid-February. The scope with include both domestic and internation transportation services provisioning and all relative modes of transport relevant to servicing New Zealand internationally and domestically, with the exception of domestic rail.
