Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) administers New Zealand’s survey and titles system. This gives New Zealanders certainty over their property rights and facilitates the sale, purchase and development of property.
The Landonline system used for property transactions was introduced in 2000 and helped New Zealand to become a world leader for ease of property transactions. However, it is now in need of replacement. It has ageing components and a design that limits LINZ’s ability to both meet the needs of customers and to support Government priorities.
The Advanced Survey and Title Services (ASaTS) Project will deliver second generation technology and improve the services that LINZ provides to its customers. ASaTS will increase the availability and quality of property information to support high quality decision making, while moving the survey and title service on to an agile and sustainable technology platform.
This Expression of Interest (EOI) is the first step in a multi-stage procurement process. It gives Respondents the chance to provide information and insights into solutions that meet LINZ’s needs.
A copy of the EOI Document has been attached, along with forms to access the Virtual Data Room (VDR) and to register to attend the ASaTS Respondent briefing on 6 May.
Please note, The content of this EOI is also supported by a range of supporting materials which are only being made available to Respondents through the VDR, and will not be available on GETS. The VDR is also the platform through which LINZ will administer the ASaTS procurement process. All updates and information in respect of the ASaTS procurement process will only be provided through the VDR; this information will not be provided through GETS.
With the exception of communications specifically relating to access to the VDR and/or attendance at the Respondent briefing (which in each instance should be directed to procurementteam@linz.govt.nz), all communications with LINZ regarding this EOI must be through the VDR.
