KiwiRail Holdings Limited is requesting information ("RFI Response") for the design, manufacture, assembly, factory testing, site installation, commissioning and ongoing technical support required for a Prefabricated Substation Building completed and fitted with primary GIS switchgear, AC traction feeder switchgear and associated control equipment, namely Vector control and SCADA panel, Remote Terminal Unit, Telecommunication equipment, Battery charger and Batteries, for the Western Power Feed Programme with a view to subsequently preparing a formal Request for Tender to be issued to the market.
Potential respondents capable of providing the Goods/Services are invited to respond to this RFI issued by KiwiRail.
This RFI is issued by KiwiRail through its Auckland Metro Programme business operation for the purpose of improving the capacity and resilience of the traction power supply to the Auckland electrified rail network.
