Kapiti Coast District Council is inviting registrations of interest from suitably qualified law firms to provide legal advice and support for its enforcement and prosecution activity.
Please note that although Kapiti Coast District Council is an eligible agency for the purposes of the All of Government External Legal Services Panel, Kapiti Coast District Council is not a participating agency.
The Council is required by various statutes to regulate a wide range of activities including matters such as land use and development under the District Plan, the carrying out of building work, the preparation of food for sale at cafes, restaurants and other outlets, controls on the sale and consumption of alcohol in public, controls on dogs, littering and parking.
