The Ōtaki Swimming Pool is situated at Haruatai Park, Ōtaki. The Kāpiti Coast District Councl (KCDC) requires the services of an experienced Splashpad designer/installer to undertake the work on a design-build basis, which will include:
- Splashpad design
- Supply and installation of water play equipment and features
- Shop drawings sufficient for Building Consent and BECA review
- Pool water supply pipework, nozzles, connectors, drain outlets, grates, channels, drainage, filtration and pumping design and installation
Note the facility is due to be upgraded and this will involve significant construction works being carried out (as part of a separate contract to the proposed Splashpad). The Splashpad construction work is envisaged to be done concurrently with the building contract work, therefore some coordination, interface and attendances will be required between the building and Splashpad contractors as the external siteworks and Splashpad are completed.
