Inland Revenue will shortly be re-tendering for Cleaning and Associated Services including:

• Standard Office Cleaning - including scheduled and unscheduled ‘general’ cleaning of office buildings such as toilet bowls, urinals, hand basins, kitchenettes and weekly vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Washroom Maintenance - scheduled servicing of sanitary receptacles, deep cleansers and scent dispensers;
• Pest Control - including flea/insect control and rodent removal);
• Hygiene Consumables - including toilet paper, hand sanitizer, hand towels and hand/foaming soap.
• Laundry Services - including servicing of tea towels, hand towels, mats (grade A and B) and laundry bags; 
• Special Cleaning Services - including requests for internal window cleaning, stripping and sealing of hard flooring, shampooing/chemically cleaning of carpets and adhoc additional cleaning of offices and meeting rooms as requested.
• Deep Cleaning of Carpets – scheduled cleaning of general office areas, reception, entrance areas, canteen, kitchen, breakout and dining areas and additional deep cleaning as requested.

Inland Revenue intends to seek either one supplier who can provide Cleaning and Associated Services to all 24 Inland Revenue sites located throughout New Zealand or one supplier to service each island. The 24 sites include Takapuna, Manukau, Ellerslie, Whangarei, Tauranga, Hamilton (2), Rotorua, Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wellington (3), Upper Hutt, Nelson, Greymouth, Christchurch (3), Timaru, Dunedin, Invercargill.

We intend to go to market in late August 2014. The opportunity will be advertised on the Government Electronic Tenders Services (GETS).
