Inland Revenue (IR) is providing advanced notice to potential respondents that it intends to issue an Expression of Interest (EOI) for outcomes described below. The EOI is expected to be released Q1 2025.
Inland Revenue’s current payroll solution is coming to an end of life in Dec 2027. For its pathway forward, IR will seek proposals from potential respondents on how IR can achieve better experience across integrated HR & payroll systems and processes. The EOI will include managed services to implement and/or support the solution and the necessary integrations with interdependent systems /processes.

Please note: Inland Revenue is reviewing the Workplace Relations and Safety Minister’s response to the consultation on the Holidays Act replacement (released 13th December 2024) which may impact the release date, or the release of an Expression of Interest for a Payroll option at this stage.
