This Request for Information relates to information on the delivery of an Imaging and Scanning solution for IR. IR currently uses an on-premises system to image and scan all incoming paper correspondence and forms to record and key in the relevant data to core tax system either manually or performing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract relevant information and pass it through to core tax system through an automated interface. Not all paper received can by OCRed to extract the information, hence manual preparation to prepare batches to be scanned and processed.
IR is requesting information on Imaging and Scanning solutions to streamline and make this process more efficient and cost effective.
