Overview
The Invercargill City Council is inviting tenderers for the supply of all labour, materials and plant necessary for the renewal of 330m of watermain and all associated works on Foyle Street and Shannon Street. The Contract shall also include the renewal of all associated laterals, fittings, fixtures and connections.
The existing asbestos cement, PVC, galvanised iron, and PE pipes on Foyle Street will be abandoned and renewed with DN100 uPVC SN12 Series 1 pipes.
The existing galvanised iron pipes on Shannon Street will be renewed on same alignments with DN100 uPVC SN12 Series 1 pipes. The existing pipes on Shannon Street will be removed.
