The Opportunity
To ensure our buildings remain compliant with the requirements set out in the Building Act 2004, Council is seeking a competent supplier for the provision of:
 annual Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) inspections and documentation,
 compliance schedule maintenance where required,
 six-monthly evacuation trials and reports
 evacuation scheme audits,
 provision of new/amended evacuation schemes where required, and
 specialist building compliance consultancy and associated services.
Hamilton City Council Facilities and Support Unit manage 62 buildings that require BWOFs, these buildings contain approximately 480 specified systems. Of the 62 buildings, approximately 53 have evacuation schemes and require 6-monthly trial evacuations.
