Hamilton City Council invites Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suitably qualified and experienced companies interested in participating in the procurement process(es) to identify media partners capable of effectively managing and prioritising Council assets to deliver the very best outcomes for our ratepayers and ultimately maximising revenue generating opportunities from the sale of HCC’s existing transport advertising space.

The objective is to have a sole media partner who has the necessary capacity, capability and track record of managing the sale of bus shelters advertising spaces to maximise revenue from the sale of HCC’s existing Transport Bus Shelters’ advertising space.


The contract shall include.
• Supply, manage and operate a successful commercial operation involving design, construction, installation, and servicing Council’s current and future bus shelters.
• Maintenance (including repair and replace) of all bus shelter in an as new, clean and tidy condition at all times in accordance with the maintenance programme, specification and performance framework stipulated in the contract, at no cost to the Council.
• Upgrade of existing bus shelter to comply with the current specification and to achieve optimal revenue from the sale of advertising spaces.


The anticipated timeframe for the commencement of procurement processes is March 2025.

Hamilton City Council reserves the right to withdraw from the procurement process (including this ROI) at any time without notice before entering into the Contract. If the Council withdraws from the procurement process, then no ROI or RFP respondent shall have any claim for compensation or otherwise against the Council.
