Advance Notice – KiwiBuild Real Estate Panel

The KiwiBuild Unit, within the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, is part of a broader initiative to facilitate the development of affordable dwellings in New Zealand, seeking to assist and support transformational change in the way affordable dwellings are delivered.
The Buying off the Plans initiative involves the Government underwriting or purchasing new homes off the plans to de-risk suitable developments led by the private sector or others in exchange for accelerating a greater number of affordable, KiwiBuild dwellings.
The purpose of this notice is to inform potential respondents of the nature and timing of the proposed tender process to establish a core panel of Real Estate Agents who will work with the KiwiBuild unit to market and facilitate the sale and purchase of Crown owned dwellings and/or property that KiwiBuild need to sell.

The anticipated timeframe for the release of the completed tender documents is early-mid March 2019.

No further information is available at this time. This is not a request for information from potential respondents and no response to this advance notice is required. Any information provided to KiwiBuild or MHUD at this stage will not be considered. KiwiBuild and/or MHUD will not, in general, enter into any communications regarding the nature of the tender before its publication.
