NOTICE OF INTENT
The KiwiBuild Unit, within the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, is part of a broader initiative to facilitate the development of affordable dwellings in New Zealand, seeking to assist and support transformational change in the way affordable dwellings are delivered.
The Group Home Builders initiative is being established to progress the opportunity KiwiBuild presents to large scale builders who may be interested in the prospect of delivering significant volumes of residential dwellings. We expect large scale builders to be able to provide a minimum of 150 KiwiBuild dwellings per annum.
ADVANCE NOTICE
KiwiBuild intends to publish an Invitation to Participate (ITP) on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) during November 2018.
SUPPLIER BRIEFING
KiwiBuild is hosting an interactive market briefing on the Group Home Builders Initiative in Wellington on the afternoon of Tuesday, 30 October 2018.
Interested parties wishing to attend the market briefing should register by downloading and completing the Market Briefing Registration form attached to this Notice of Intent and emailing it to botp@kiwibuild.govt.nz
Once we have received, reviewed and accepted your registration we will provide you with venue and timing details.
