Designgroup architects h+k on behalf of Heritage New Zealand are seeking Registrations of Interest (ROIs) from Main Contractors interested in carrying out additions and alterations to Clendon Cottage in Russell, a category 2 historically listed building.
The project involves:
- An addition to the existing cottage to accommodate 2 new accessible toilets.
- Internal renovations to create a retail and admissions space + fit out of this new space.
- New verandah and fire exit door.
- Specific fire rating to existing mid floor and installation of a new type 4 fire alarm system.
- Refurbishment of all exterior timber joinery and shutters.
- Internal Refurbishment of the existing cottage.
- Exterior Landscaping including paving, steps, ramps, channel grates, and brick kerbing etc.
In registering interest, contractors are asked to provide the information as per the ROI information sheet attached.
Key parts of this information are:
- Project History, Company details, Management Structure.
- Referees for recently completed projects of similar work.
- Current workload, i.e. When contractors would be available to start this project.
Note:
- Companies who have submitted ROI's with designgroup architects h+k in the last three months
- should confirm any changes to their previous submission.
- Heritage New Zealand will scrutinise all Registrations of Interest.
- Heritage New Zealand will subsequently invite some or all to make formal tenders for the project.
- The project is being administered by designgroup architects h+k, and will be tendered and executed under The NZIA SCC 2014.
