HLC is an independently governed project delivery company formed by Housing New Zealand to develop land for Crown Housing purposes.
Crown agencies have been working with Ngāti Toa Rangātira (Ngāti Toa) and the Porirua City Council (PCC) to develop a 25-year project to regenerate Eastern Porirua.
At the start of 2019, the HLC development team will commence the spatial master planning of the whole Eastern Porirua area, inclusive of infrastructure planning and associated community infrastructure projects.
In addition, HLC would like to undertake some early stage catalyst projects in Eastern Porirua and we would like to undertake an initial master planning study on the town centres of Cannons Creek and Waitangirua.
HLC wishes to procure the services of a Town Centre Master Planner.
The purpose of the RFP is to invite suitably qualified consultants to submit proposals to HLC with information on their skills, services, location and experience in spatial planning and redevelopment of town centres.
