Overview

We have recently procured several transport incubators (Rigs) for hospitals across New Zealand, adding to our existing fleet and are now seeking to establish an open panel of suppliers for comprehensive air certification services allowing our incubator rigs to be used in aircraft ambulances nationwide. In addition to the certification requirements, this RFP will also include some potential design and manufacturing work, contingent upon the complexity of the interface (sled) between the incubator, aircraft, and existing systems. Under the current project, most of these arrangements have already been made as part of the build.

This panel will address the certification, and recertification needs for our national fleet of incubator rigs. It will ensure the effective management of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing air transport requirements. The panel will help us distribute workload efficiently, scale services to meet future demands, and adapt to varying service volumes. Suppliers will be selected based on their ability to provide reliable, high-quality certification services ensuring consistent support and flexibility as our needs evolve.
