Violence at work has been identified as a critical risk for Te Whatu Ora in the organisational Health and Safety Risk Register.

Te Whatu Ora needs to purchase best practice training products specifically designed for use in healthcare settings to decrease the incidence and mitigate the harms of violence at work. The training products must be effective, safe for kaimahi and persons in crisis, aligned with clinical values and practice, and sustainable over the long term.
