Procurement approach
Is an open, competitive RFP process, which will be openly advertised using the GETS. More details on the procurement approach will be outlined in the RFP.
The intention of this procurement is to have three contracts (or an SLA or equivalent for Te Whatu Ora applicants) between:
• Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand
• the successful lead provider in each of the three HHI regions.

Joint responses will be accepted, which involves different respondents/providers. In the case of joint responses, the potential contractual arrangements will be discussed with the providers (in conjunction with Health Legal as appropriate) to agree the most appropriate contractual arrangement. This may involve requiring a lead provider to be identified, who will be the contracting party and responsible for the successful delivery by the partners.
