This Request of Interest (ROI) is an invitation to suitably qualified Respondents to register an interest for the Kaupapa Maori Health Tec Services Panel “Hira” opportunity.
‘Hira’ is a Te Reo Māori word meaning ‘to have significant bearing on future events; a widespread effect’
Hira will provide a foundation to transform the way health information is accessed and used. It will enable a virtual electronic health record, that draws together a person’s latest health data from trusted sources. People will be able to access and control their health information through their choice of website or application.
Hira is an ecosystem of data and digital services that enables better access to health information. It will establish the foundations for a digitally enabled health and disability system by releasing foundational technology enablers, such as digital identity and a succession of data and digital services that can be accessed through multiple channels.
Hira will be a significant enabler of innovation and system reform.
Maori digital innovators, will have opportunity to design and contribute data and digital services that increase access to information, improve equity, and will contribute to all Health and Wellbeing outcomes
