This is call for Registrations of Interest (ROI) for suitably qualified contractors to submit a Tender for Wainuiomata Town Centre streetscape and public space redevelopment. Construction is scheduled in early 2022 and requires a diverse and skilled construction team.

It is intended that contractors shortlisted from this ROI will be invited to participate in a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) however the Principal reserves the right to award a contract directly from the ROI.

What we need
The redevelopment of Wainuiomata Town Centre aims to bring to life the community’s vision for our Town Centre. The project focuses on creating a vibrant shopping street together with a new square / civic ‘heart’ surrounding the ANZAC memorial. In addition, a pavilion is proposed on the edge of the square between the Hall and the Library. This small building could be used as a small café.
Hutt City Council (HCC) is now looking for contractors to help deliver this work.
