Hutt City Council (HCC) is looking to deliver a new Naenae Pool and Fitness Centre in the community of Naenae, to replace the 65-year-old Naenae Olympic Pool. This new facility needs to
meet the needs of the community and wider city now and into the future and is to be developed consistently with the Naenae Town Centre Spatial Plan.

HCC wishes to partner with a suitably skilled Main Contractor to undertake the following works:
- ECI engagement to advise on buildability, sequencing and material selections
- Enabling Works
- Construction of the new Pool and Fitness Centre

It is anticipated the works would commence in November 2021, with an ROI due out shortly, followed by a closed RFP to shortlisted respondents.

The ECI contractor will become the preferred contractor to complete enabling works required following demolition of the existing buildings and construction of the new facility.
