In 2012, Hawkes Bay Regional Council (HBRC) implemented SharePoint 2010 as a ‘single-view’ platform for Intranet and Document Management. This platform, as planned, is being used more and more as a one-stop shop for staff to work digitally particularly through the use of Nintex. HBRC is now at a point where there are significant business drivers, such as expected cost-savings opportunities, extended functionality and increased security and mobility, to upgrade this environment to one or both of the latest SharePoint platforms; Office365 and SharePoint 2016.
This RFP document has been released to the market to select a preferred Vendor to upgrade, and provide a long-term strategic partnership to support, HBRC’s SharePoint platform. HBRC expects the proposed solution to be either solely, or a combination of, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online and potentially other Office365 components to achieve the required outcomes and objectives.
