Overview

The Hawke’s Bay District Health Board is seeking a workforce training programme with on-going support for their clinical and non-clinical staff and community partners, on best practices in recovery-oriented suicide prevention techniques and on-going support for an involving workforce for client centred care.

We are looking for credible providers who have the capability, experience and infrastructure to deliver a suicide prevention workforce training programme. They need to have an evidence and research-based recovery-oriented framework and good track record in the management and implementation of education related programmes and effective networks and strong relationships within their local community.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major New Zealand health initiative. Providers will support clinicians, community support staff and service leaders to confidently approach, manage and treat patients presenting as suicidal. Through investment in a skilled prevention workforce, you will empower these communities to find local solutions to local needs.

If interested please complete the Registration of Interest Response form.
