HBDHB wishes to select a management consultancy service to develop a Hawke’s Bay Clinical Services Plan that includes services across the Hawke’s Bay Health Sector. The clinical services plan will identify the clinical services delivered and models of care that will be needed to meet the future demand of the population of Hawke’s Bay. The objective is to align existing health services delivery arrangements with the changing patterns of need to make the most effective use of available and future resources. The Clinical Services Plan will not be limited to Hospital based services, but will consider the primary and secondary clinical services delivered within the Hawke’s Bay Health System and ensure alignment with the evolution of social care locally.
The consultant will be required to lead the research regarding the current state, develop options regarding the Clinical Services Plan and consult on these. This will include delivering a written report and presentations that familiarise HBDHB with the approved direction.
It is expected this will be a ten year plan, but where service implications require a longer term view (such as major capital investment) a longer perspective will be required.
