This is a Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO).
The FPO does not represent a commitment to procure but provides an indication to the market about the potential future activity, which is anticipated to occur in the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year.
Waikoau Gorge Bridge is located approximately 2km west of State Highway 2 on Waikoau Road. This bridge has been restricted following damages incurred during cyclone Gabrielle. This bridge is on the only route in/out of Waikoau, Mokamoka area and it serves forestry and farming communities.
The work required to be completed comprises of repairing the damage caused due to cyclone Gabrielle as well as strengthening the bridge to lift its current weight restrictions. This project is on a very tight timeline. To this end, we are looking for a main contractor who can provide evidence of working with multiple specialist subcontractors, provide methodology statements and work to tight deadlines.
