This is an Expression of Interest for Planned, reactive and corrective maintenance over the Havelock North, Te Awanga and Clifton Dams and Streams and Omahu North Basins which includes, but is not limited to:
- Undertaking any repairs to dams as identified following monthly and annual inspections.
- Mowing, weed eating and spraying of streams usually up to 5 times per year (depending upon growth within the stream).
- Removal of rubbish and debris such as trees, tyres, concrete blocks, (as examples) which block the water ways as required, and in response to calls from members of the public.
- Minor Stream protection works as identified under this Contract to remediate erosion and slips.
- Working collaboratively with Council on O&M planning and asset management
- A partner that council and community can rely on to support maintenance proactively and reactively of the streams
The above scope of works will likely expand as development of the streams and dams management programme progresses, and further requirements are identified. The likelihood of increased scope requirements will be clearly stated in the tender documents, with a requirement for the successful contractor to demonstrate an ability to scale up as and when required .
