Railway Road Stormwater

Details

Expressions of Interest are invited for the intended construction of a new large diameter stormwater main in Railway Road between Eastbourne Street and Gascoigne Street. The proposed stormwater main on Railway Road is to reduce known flooding issues at the Southampton and Eastbourne intersection and improve the level of service for the wider stormwater network of Hastings.

This work involves:
 Health & Safety, Traffic and Environmental Management
 Quality Management, Testing, CCTV and As-builts
 Preconstruction services and site investigations
 Temporary Works Design
 Complete installation of approximately 720m of DN1200mm RC pipe on Railway Road from Gascoigne Street to Southampton Street West, including:
 DN2300 manhole at downstream connection
 6 No. mitred bends with DN1050 chimney manholes
 3 No. DN1050 chimney manholes
 Connections into the existing stormwater system including the installation of laterals
 Complete on-line renewal of approximately 70m of DN150 foul sewer main with 3 No. DN1050 manholes.
 Complete installation of approximately 230m of DN600 RC pipe and approximately 17m of DN375 RC pipe on Railway Road from Eastbourne Street to Southampton Street, including:
 4 No. DN1200 manholes
 Connections into the existing stormwater system including the installation of a lateral
 
The CON2016057 Request for Expression of Interest – Railway Road Stormwater shall close at the Hastings District Council Offices and must be placed in the tender box located at:
