Contract Name: Wilson Water Treatment Plant
Open Expressions of Interest – HDC ASSET MANAGEMENT
Expressions of interest are invited for the detail design, construction and commission of the Wilson Water Treatment Plant including:
• detail design and installation of all mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, control and building components of the project;
• drilling a new bore within Flaxmere Park and associated headworks and housing. Note the existing pump at Wilson (installed 2016) will be reused and HDC will provide detail design of the bore and borehead;
• associated civil pipework to provide connectivity between the new bore, proposed treatment and existing reticulation. Civil pipework will include associated valves, chambers and ancillary items i.e. surge anticipators, flow meters etc. 200-300mmø water main between source water, the treatment plant and the reticulation connection point. Note HDC will provide detail design of all below ground civil infrastructure;
• provision for installation of 3-log treatment with an ultra violet (UV) reactor, run to waste and associated works and equipment that provides full compliance with the Drinking Water Standards New Zealand (DWSNZ 2005, Revised 2008); all associated mechanical componentry;
• all associated electrical control and monitoring equipment and system;
• reconfiguration/extension of existing building as required;
• tie ins to the existing reticulation discharge point;
• tie ins to the existing chlorine and fluoride dosing systems;
• installation of a new plant PLC and associated SCADA and controls;
• integration of existing chlorine and HFA dosing control into new PLC;
• integration of the plant into the HDC telemetry network;
• reinstatement and landscaping as required;
• final testing and commission of plant into operation;
• decommissioning and abandonment of the existing Wilson bore.
