healthAlliance recently posted RFP P11-05 (HEALTH-654241) seeking suppliers for the supply of chest drains to Auckland DHB, Counties Manukau DHB, Waitemata DHB and Northern DHB. The closing date for responses was 7 October 2014.
In the RFP hA noted that other DHBs may become observers to the RFP process. hA has become aware that additional DHBs including Waikato DHB, Capital & Coast DHB, Hawke’s Bay DHB and Canterbury DHB might be interested in purchasing chest drains from one or more respondents in future.
In order to provide the best options for DHBs, hA has decided to appoint a national panel of suppliers for the supply of chest drains to interested DHBs.
As hA has changed the scope of the RFP it considers that in order to be fair to all potential respondents, it is re-opening the RFP for a short period 6th January 2015 to allow for any responses from potential suppliers who did not respond to the original RFP but wish to consider appointment to the Panel.
The relevant documents are as follows:

2. hA’s proposal in relation to the Panel (to be read in conjunction with the RFP)
3. the amended draft Agreement for the Supply of Chest Drains (which is materially the same as the original Agreement except that it also includes a Schedule of Panel terms).
4. The updated volumes with the DHBs added into the RFP
