The Hospital Administration Replacement Project aims to replace the dated, highly configured, partially bespoke Patient Administration System (PAS) at Auckland DHB. We need a PAS that is patient centric, which supports the patient journey regardless of the location where health services are delivered, that allows the free flow of patient data across numerous systems and fully involves the patient through the use of a patient portal. We also need a PAS that utilises modern, fit for purpose and resilient architecture, which has robust disaster recovery capabilities and holds our patient information securely. We are prepared to look at all credible service solutions and are seeking support from the market to understand current options and broad high-level costs in delivering a modern, robust and resilient PAS. The regional preference is for an "as a Service" solution but all solution types will be considered.
