healthAlliance (FPSC) Limited (hA) provides procurement related shared services to New Zealand's district health boards (DHBs). It is authorised to enter into contracts for procurement of products and services for DHBs, and accordingly it is running this Request for Proposal for the supply of
Radiology Outsource Services for the Auckland, Counties Manukau and Waitemata District Health Boards (the Participating DHBs).
hA will enter into a Master Panel Agreement for the supply of Radiology Outsource Services under which the DHB can purchase these services.
The key outcome of this RFP process is to contract the services of a Panel of third party providers able to assist the DHBs in providing quality, accurate and agreed Radiology services.
The preferred provider will need to:
To provide all or parts of the required components of the service
Provide coverage and support opportunities in the Auckland Region
Effective diagnostic consultation and management of a patient’s process of care
Provide a prompt, efficient, flexible service
Provide a cost effective service
Distinctive skills we will be looking for in a provider:
Proven skills and expertise in similar contracts (size; local and/or regional coverage)
IANZ accredited Radiology Service Provider
The ability to increase efficiency with designing Radiology services around the needs of the patients
That Radiology services are provided in a timely manner to complement, enhance and/or support all other management and treatment interventions
