Counties Manukau DHB (CMDHB) is looking to replace paper towel dispensers with approximately 100-140 new generation hand dryers for selected non-clinical public and staff toilet facilities as negotiated by health Alliance.
The key benefit of the exercise is to reduce the carbon footprint plus significant bottom line savings from reduction in paper towel costs, improve cleaning times, maintenance and waste removal. This RFP requests that you provide up to 3 solutions of models to provide the fastest and most hygienic way to dry hands in busy public and staff restrooms for a hospital, bearing in mind that some dryers may be located near wards thus need to be quieter so not to disturb patients.
The quality evaluation will be scored and will focus on which presented model provides the best mix of;
• Speed of dry time
• Lowest decibel level available
• Power usage per dry session
• Speed and ease of cleaning process
• Length of disruption when unit is being repaired
