SUPPLY OF PERIPHERAL INTRAVENEOUS CANNULA AND BLOOD COLLECTION DEVICES

Details

1.1. The scope of this RFP is Peripheral Intravenous Cannula and Blood Collection Devices. The following products are specifically in-scope for this RFP:
• cannula in safety and non-safety versions, in a variety of lengths and sizes, with and without integrated extension sets;
• cannula in blood control and non-blood control versions, in a variety of lengths and sizes, with and without integrated extension sets;
• cannula in winged and non-winged versions, in a variety of lengths and sizes, with and without integrated extension sets;
• cannula in ported in a variety of lengths and sizes, with and without integrated extension sets;
• disposable and reusable tourniquets;
• IV start packs;
• injection caps;
• safety and non-safety multisample needles;
• flashback and non-flashback multisample needles;
• single use and re-usable vacutainer holders;
• safety and non-safety winged infusion/blood collection sets – flashback and non-flashback versions;
• blood transfer devices – male and female luer locking; and
• fully integrated multisample needle and winged infusion/blood collection vacutainer systems – flashback and non-flashback.
The following products are specifically out-of-scope for this RFP:
• IV extensions, except for integrated IV extensions which are in-scope;
• IV securement devices;
• subcutaneous needle devices;
• midlines;
• PICC lines;
• central lines;
• lancets;
• blunt fill needles;
• hypodermic needles; and
• blood collection tubes
(together referred to as the Products).
