CONTAINED WITHIN THIS RFP IS A PRIMARY PROCUREMENT AND TWO IMMEDIATE SECONDARY PROCUREMENTS FOR EQUIPMENT
(1) Primary Procurement: To establish a national Supplier Panel for the supply of Equipment (the equipment) and associated maintenance services as stated below;
(a) Computed Tomography Scanners (Diagnostic & Radiotherapy CT Scanners);
(b) Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanners (1.5 & 3.0T MRI Scanners);
(c) Nuclear Medicine Scanners (Gamma Cameras (SPECT) & SPECT CT Scanners);
(d) PET Scanners (PET CT & PET MRI Scanners);
(e) Catheterisation Laboratory (Hybrid, Vascular, Cardiac, Shared Service Cath Labs);
(f) Fluoroscopy Imaging Systems;
(g) Digital Radiology X-Ray Equipment (DR Rooms);
(h) Image Intensifiers (II);
(i) Flat Panel C-Arm Systems;
(j) Digital Radiology X-Ray Systems (Mobile DR Units);
(2) Immediate Secondary Procurement Opportunities:
(k) Capital & Coast District HealthBoard (C&CDHB), Hutt Valley District Health Board (HVDHB) and Wairarapa District Health Board (WRDHB), together defined as 3DHB have a requirement for 4 Diagnostic CT Scanners which will be sourced as one project within this RFP.
(l) Nelson Marlborough District Health Board (NMDHB) has an immediate requirement for a Cardiac Angiography/Interventional Fluoroscopy System.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Respondents can apply to the following:
(a) the Primary Procurement RFP only (if the supplier wishes to be considered for the Panel but does not wish to apply for either secondary procurement opportunity); or
(b) the Primary Procurement RFP AND one or both of the Secondary Procurement Opportunities.
Please note that a supplier cannot respond to either of the Secondary Procurement Opportunities if that supplier does not wish to be appointed to the Panel and has not submitted a Panel RFP Proposal.

FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF SUPPLIERS TO THE PANEL FOR THE SUPPLY OF IMAGING EQUIPMENT:
The initial evaluation date and shortlisting of Respondents (if desired) is Friday 16th October – not the 9th October. Please note this date change is regarding the timeline for the Panel for Supply of Imaging Equipment and does not impact on the timelines for the immediate procurement opportunities within the document.
