hA is seeking proposals from interested suppliers to provide, install and maintain ECG machines with accessories within the technical requirements specifications as set out in this RFP and who wish to enter into an agreement to supply products to the DHBs.
ADHB wishes to purchase ECG machines with the capacity to perform in two main clinical settings i.e. Cardiology and Ward settings. The DHB intends to replace a total of 28 ECG machines used by the Coronary Care Unit and Adult Intensive Care Unit in the 2015/16 financial year. The current machines were purchased in 2005 and perform >25,000 ECG tests per annum
The new ECG’s must link directly to the electronic medical record; this will eliminate the current need for scanning the printed tests (with optimal ECG diagnostic quality) recorded from these machines. There is a need for a mixture of high (volume) and low (volume) specification models within a single configuration along with any relevant accessories to make the machines operational in a clinical environment.
