Overview

healthAlliance (FPSC) Limited (hA) provides procurement related shared services to New Zealand's district health boards (DHBs). It is authorised to enter into contracts for procurement of products for DHBs, and accordingly it is running this Request for Proposal for the supply of Molecular Testing System for Microbiology and Associated Consumables and Services to [Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) (each a Participating DHB) (Response Process). The contract structure that hA has adopted since 1 July 2014 is a “national procurement” structure under which hA will enter into a Master Agreement for the supply of Molecular Testing System for Microbiology and Associated Consumables and Services under which Participating DHBs can purchase these products by raising purchase orders.

The initial Participating DHB to this RFP is CDHB. Other DHBs may be observers to this process and may become Participating DHBs during this response process

hA invites proposals from suppliers who meet the clinical, commercial and other requirements set out in this RFP and who wish to enter into an agreement to supply products to the DHBs.
