Overview

We seek supplier proposals for an Engineer to Contract (EtC) for the proposed NZS 3916:2013 design and construct contract for a new train maintenance depot in Masterton, New Zealand (the IPEMU Depot Contract). The IPEMU Depot Contract will go to market later this year. We are procuring the EtC in advance of the IPEMU Depot Contract going to market to enable the EtC to review the proposed contract and provide advice.

The Engineer to Contract is being procured to fulfil the duties and responsibilities as required and described in NZS 3916:2013 Conditions of contract for building and civil engineering – Design and construct.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a significant programme of works being delivered by GWRC. This is an opportunity for suppliers to:
• Become an established Engineer to Contract / Independent Certifier supplier to GWRC and Metlink
• Be involved in a transformational transport project spanning multiple years.
• Make a real difference in the Wellington region.
