Greater Wellington Regional Council operates a complex, well-established public transport network across the Wellington region under the brand ‘Metlink’. The Metlink brand brings together the region's bus, train, and harbour ferry services under one name into an integrated public transport system for the Greater Wellington Public Transport Network.
Metlink maintains a network of bus stops across the Wellington region, located in many different places from large urban areas to small rural villages.
We are seeking a supplier to provide cleaning and minor maintenance services for the assets that make up our bus stops (Bus Stop Assets), across our network of approximately 3,000 bus stops. This includes:
• Cleaning on a scheduled basis, and reactively when required.
• Planned and reactive minor maintenance, including that related to identified bus stop signage.
• Traffic management activities.
• Delivering a programme of inspections and condition assessments.
• Effective and timely capture and management of asset data and provision of reporting.
This is a key contract for us, and we want to hear from suppliers who can work alongside us to deliver our intended outcomes of:
• Bus Stop Assets across our network are cleaned and maintained consistently and efficiently to a high standard.
• Asset data and information is accurate and up-to-date and supports effective asset and financial planning and asset lifecycle management activity.
• Positive social, cultural, economic and environmental impacts.
Please subscribe to this notice and refer to the Request for Proposal package for more information.
