Overview

This procurement for construction services relating to riverworks and rocklines is to support the RiverLink programme.

We are seeking a suitably qualified civils contractor, with appropriate management and support staff to deliver the works in accordance with the design, specification, and environmental and consent frameworks.

It is our expectation that these works can be completed as a single package of works during the 2024/2025 earthworks season and in accordance with the project consent and management plans. This work package will only be a one component of the overall riverworks required in this reach and largely targeted on delivering the rocklines. The wider riverworks including extensive bed lowering and gravel extraction will be a later package as these need to be delivered in tandem with future stopbank construction.

The site already has established haul roads and a 22,000t stockpile of B-Grade rock that will be used for these works.

What we don’t want

We do not need the following services:
• Design services or other professional services.
• Overarching consent management plans. The overarching consent management plans are in place and will be provided to proponents during the RFP stage. The contractor will be responsible for site specific plans under these overarching plans.
• Bioengineering and planting of berms
• Rock grading other than that proposed in the drawings or spec.
• Rock supply only
