GNS Science (GNS) is New Zealand’s leading Earth science institute and is leading several climate change
research programmes aligned to developing a low carbon economy and mitigation of climate change goals.
GNS is looking to procure carbonyl sulphide (COS) analysers and peripherals essential to its involvement in the
CarbonWatch-Urban project. CarbonWatch-Urban is a multi-institutional effort to evaluate New Zealand’s
urban carbon emissions combining atmospheric observations, transport modelling and bottom-up accounting.
COS measurements will be used to evaluate the urban biogenic carbon dioxide exchange processes
