Overview
In Gisborne concerns have been raised by some members of the public, as well as some Councillors and staff that ‘silly rules’ or issues in Council plans may be triggering unnecessary resource consents. There are also other minor errors that can create confusion and inefficiencies for plan users.
We have decided to address issues that can be progressed simply, ahead of more comprehensive reviews of our plans. One round of small changes and minor plan changes has already been completed. We are now looking to progress a second round.
