Since 2012, the Prime Minister’s Youth Mental Health Project has been rolling out programmes and activities in schools, health and community services, and online to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 12-19. Superu has already commissioned a case study-based outcome evaluation of the Youth Mental Health Project (YMHP), which will be completed in June 2016. An economic evaluation of YMHP is now required. The successful Respondent will be expected to work with the existing contractor who is completing the outcome evaluation.
The economic evaluation will examine the overall return on investment of the YMHP, the cost effectiveness of different initiatives or clusters of initiatives within the YMHP, and make recommendations as to future investment. The final draft report will be due 30 June 2016.
