This Request for Proposal invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit a Proposal to provide, configure, support and evolve a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for the Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR) Health and Environment Group.
The LIMS is the system that drives all of the laboratory processes from receiving a specimen and test requests, through to the analysis and reporting of results. The criticality of the LIMS has become more important as ESR’s labs have expanded to include wastewater and genome sequence testing as part of the COVID-19 response.
We note that any contract as a result of this RFP will be considered a Significant Service Contract and will be managed and reported on in accordance with the MBIE Significant Service Contracts Framework.
Respondents planning to submit a Proposal are requested to confirm their intention to respond by 25 July. Intention can be provided through GETS using the “Raise a Question” function. We note that providing notice of your intent to respond is not binding. Similarly, a response may be submitted by a Respondent who has not provided notice of intent to respond.
