Overview

The Earthquake Commission (EQC) is going to market in early August for a system integrator and configurator to provide BAU support and as required development services for our Guidewire Cloud instance of ClaimCenter.

EQC is partnering with Guidewire to be the first customer in region (Asia Pacific) to upgrade and migrate our current on-premise instance of ClaimCenter (v8) which is expected to be complete in March 2022.

EQC is a Crown entity providing natural disaster insurance for residential property to New Zealand homeowners. Since 2008, we have used Guidewire’s ClaimCenter Software to provide the support homeowners’ needs when a natural disaster occurs. EQC’s Customer Code requires us to provide excellent customer service; to allow us to be successful in this goal an effective Claims Management System (CMS) is essential.

To support our use of Guidewire Cloud we are seeking an experienced and capable partner to provide system integration and configuration services after upgrading to Guidewire Cloud.

This is a unique opportunity to support EQC on our journey to the Guidewire Cloud as the first of its kind in the region. By partnering with EQC and Guidewire you will gain insights an expertise that can be utilised to expand your business to others looking to invest long-term in the Guidewire Cloud Platform.

The successful Respondent will support EQC by:
• providing ongoing operational support of EQC’s instance of ClaimCenter once in production;
• providing industry standard ITIL Service Management while working within a service aggregation model;
• maintaining an out-of-the-box approach to product development with adherence to Guidewire’s Quality Assurance framework, including change and release management; and
• helping to maintain EQC’s relationship with Guidewire.
