Overview
The New Zealand English Language Training for Officials (NZELTO) scheme funds English language training programmes for government officials from selected countries within Asia, and Africa. This is delivered through short courses for separate cohorts of Asian officials, and African officials in New Zealand.
The purpose of the NZELTO scheme is to provide officials with the skills, knowledge and relationships to contribute to their country’s development, and to enhance the relationship between New Zealand and partner countries.
