This Request for Proposals related to the purchase of demolition services for dwellings on whenua Māori in the Hawke's Bay and Tairāwhiti regions. The Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery is seeking suitably experienced and capable respondents to provide demolition services for up to 30 sites in these regions to ensure the safety of land by removing dwellings that have been deemed as a risk following the North Island Severe Weather Events in 2023. There are up to 30 sites that may require demolition services. While this procurement oppportunity is advertised under the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, any contracts would be entered into between the successful provider(s) and the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery.

We are open to receiving partial responses for specific sites only to ensure a fit for purpose solution for all locations. Respondents should indicate in their response the locations where they are able to undertake the services.

We are only seeking demolition services and potentially some minor land preparation services to enable the successful respondents to access the demolition sites with the required machinery.
